Who we are
This site is run by Lidespy LLP, Pune, India, which publishes IntelliAInsight at https://intelliainsight.com/. For anything in this notice, write to hello@intelliainsight.com.
What we collect, and why
| What | When | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Email address, first name | You join the newsletter list | To send you the newsletter | Until you leave the list. The row stays marked as opted out so we do not add you again by mistake |
| Name, email, company, message | You use a form on the site | To reply to you | Two years, then deleted |
| Name and comment text | You post a comment | To publish it under the article | Until you ask us to remove it |
| Page address, day, referring site | Every page view | To count which stories get read. Totals only, never tied to a person | Kept as daily totals |
| Seconds spent on an article | You leave an article page | Added to a daily total for that article | Kept as daily totals |
We do not store your IP address, and we do not build a profile of you from your reading.
Cookies and the tools we load
A session cookie keeps forms working, and one small cookie remembers your cookie choices and whether you prefer dark mode. Those are necessary and always on.
Everything else loads only after you agree to it in the banner, and you can change or withdraw that at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer. Nothing in the list below runs before you say yes.
Analytics, if you allow it
- Google Analytics 4, by Google
- Counts visits and which pages get read. Sets cookies and collects a shortened IP address, device and browser details, and the pages you view. Google may process this outside your country. Opt out here through our cookie settings, or with Google's browser add on. Google's privacy policy.
- Microsoft Clarity, by Microsoft
- Records how pages are used: scrolling, clicks and a replay of the page as you saw it, plus device and browser details. We use it to find broken layouts and confusing pages. We tell Clarity not to use your data for advertising. Microsoft's privacy statement.
Visitor identification, if you allow it
- RB2B
- Tries to work out which company a visitor belongs to, and for some United States visitors may identify the person. It uses your IP address and its own matching data to do this. We use it to see which companies read us. This one is off unless you switch it on, and rejecting it changes nothing about what you can read. RB2B privacy policy.
The cookie notice lists the same three tools with the cookies each one sets.
Where your email address lives
Newsletter addresses are not stored in this website's database. They go to a private Google Sheet that Lidespy LLP controls, held in Google Workspace. Only people at Lidespy LLP who need it can open it. We do not sell, rent or swap the list.
Who else sees your data
- Hostinger, which hosts the site and therefore stores the database and server logs.
- Google, for the subscriber sheet, and for Analytics if you allow it.
- Microsoft, for Clarity, if you allow it.
- RB2B, if you allow visitor identification.
- Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces and therefore sees your IP address as any website server does.
Nobody else. We do not pass anything to advertisers.
Your rights
Ask us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to hello@intelliainsight.com and we will answer within thirty days.
- To leave the newsletter, use the unsubscribe page or the link in any email. One click, no questions.
- To remove a comment, tell us which one.
- To turn tracking off, use Cookie settings in the footer.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our lawful basis is your consent for the newsletter and for optional tracking, and legitimate interest for replying to messages you send us and for counting page views in totals. You can complain to your national data protection authority. In India you may contact us first, and we will try to sort it out directly.
Children
This is a business publication and is not aimed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
